Coverage of the 519th Meeting of the 36th Session of the UN Committee on Migrant Workers and Concluding Observations on the 3rd Periodic Report of the Philippines

Representatives from the Philippine Migrants Rights Watch (PMRW) were able to participate at the 36th Session of the Committee on Migrant Workers (CMW) and provide recommendations while observing the 3rd Periodic Reporting of the Philippine Government to the CMW.

PMRW also co-organized a special online briefing with CSOs in the Philippines and the country rapporteurs of the Philippines on 28 March 2023. Their interventions were presented which will be shared at the 3rd Periodic Review.

The CMW provided their concluding observations on the 3rd Periodic Report of the Philippines, incorporating some of the interventions provided by PMRW and CSOs in the Philippines.
