COMELEC Resolution No. 10709: Establishing Online or Virtual Processes for Frontline Services of the Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV)...

The Philippine Migrants Rights Watch (PMRW) presents COMELEC's Resolution No. 10709: "Establishing Online or Virtual Processes for Frontline Services of the Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV) in relation to the Conduct of Continuing Overseas Voting Registration and Other Preparatory Activities for the 2022 National & Local Elections."

In this resolution, the OFOV has been authorized to receive and process certain types of applications or transactions through online means, from overseas Filipinos that already have existing voters' registration records with complete biometric data in the Commission's voter record database.

The PMRW conducted earlier an information webinar on Overseas Voting for the 2022 National Elections last July 9, 2021 with resource persons from the COMELEC and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
